Our regular uke jams are held at the St Kilda RSL, upstairs in the “Heroes Lounge”. There are a strong group of regulars and usually around 10-20 people so don’t worry, you won’t be a lone weirdo skulking about with a ukulele.

People of all skills are welcome, even if you’ve never played before and don’t have a uke, come along and we’ll show you the ropes. We often run a small beginner lesson at 6:30pm before the main session at 7pm, but please contact us first and let us know you are coming so we can make sure to get there early enough.

We usually run through a bunch of songs, picking as we go, but if we have an upcoming performance we’ll run through that set list first. People usually bring a tablet to view the chords and lyrics but if this is your first time don’t worry you can look over someone else’s shoulder.

The RSL has a dress code to be aware of, neat, clean attire at all times, no hats, singlets, no thongs, no Hi-Viz workwear.
